One of Us Is Next book review

 

Hello, I am back!! Just as I had promised earlier, I am back with my book review for the sequel book to One of Us is Lying! So, in this book, there is a lot of new different characters, who are somehow related to characters in One of Us is Lying. There's Maeve, Knox & Phoebe. Maeve also happens to be Bronwyn's sister. Now that Simon is dead, what is going on with Bayview high, again!?! Now we have a game of truth and dare. Usually, truth and dares are meant to be fun and like something you play for icebreakers or something. But this one? Oh, this one was very very deadly. If you do not respond to 'Unknown', one of your darkest secrets would be revealed. But if you chose a dare, it's probably going to be equally horrifying. On the trio's chase in finding the 'Unknown', they survive a bomb blast and chase the person like they have never chased before. Just like the previous book, Karen McManus keeps us on the edge of our seats, biting our teeth and makes us think so hard. Why does 'Unknown' target only some people, as it is related to his/her main plan? Why did 'Unknown' want to continue Simon's plan, but even deadlier? Who does he want dead, and why? This book will make you have goosebumps, just like it did to me.
