The Great Village Show book review
The story starts with a whole village planning for a village show that will by chance get their village on the top 10 desirable places to live map. I wondered that it would have been really fun to plan a fair, a carnival in a village with everyone eager to participate and contribute. But it is totally different in the world we live in. When we ask for ideas for a party or something from children, they will answer half-heartedly using their phones or smart-devices," Hmm..." which means in their language , ok noted. No one will contribute, and in the end, when the party does not turn up 'as expected', the children will complain, "why didn't you plan properly?" Here, my question is, if you know how to say the party is lame, why don't you know how to contribute? Gosh, lucky the villagers did not have good wi-fi connection because if not, they would have spent 'too' much time on their phone. Anyway, going back into the story, the main character Megan, would have met this man called Dan, a celebrity chef, who she thought was very rude and irritating... During the Village show preps, Megan's friends will be going through drama while she and Dan fall in love. This book is just the book for readers who like very lively, fiction, comedy, and teeny weeny romance books. See you next time!
